Annual Investment Meeting to be rescheduled

Communication of the organizing committee: The United Arab Emirates has taken a set of precautionary measures and measures in compliance with global health standards to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus (COVID-19), and has applied the medical protocols required to reduce the spread of the disease, including rescheduling the dates of events and conferences in various fields, in line with the preventive measures taken by the government and to preserve the security, health and safety of the participants and visitors. Based on the above and due to the precise nature of the Annual Investment Meeting which includes government officials, thought leaders and business pioneers from all over the world, the organizing committee announces the Annual Investment Meeting, which was scheduled to take place during the period from 24 – 26 March 2020, to be rescheduled to another date. AIM is the world’s leading investment platform and provides an ideal experience for exhibitors, sponsors, participants and visitors from different parts of the world to support the strengthening of economic relations in the global investment community. The decision comes after a series of consultations and deliberations with the main partners and participants in the event, who supported the move to reschedule the date of its commencement in line with the efforts and measures taken at the national level aimed at limiting the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19) in order to ensure the safety of the participating delegations. We would like to reassure all AIM international investment & Business communities that the Annual Investment Meeting Organizing Committee will continue to drive the dialogue on the future of investment to promote and engage the investment opportunities from around the world for the benefit of all.


Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), the World’s Leading Investment Platform in the Middle East and North Africa, will hold its 10th edition on March 24-26 2020 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Under the theme ‘Investing for the Future: Shaping the Global Investment Strategies’, AIM will gather high-ranking government officials, decision makers, corporate leaders, policy makers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics and experts to address the global challenges of securing viable investment aimed at contributing to economic growth.

AIM has evolved from assisting emerging economies to attract FDIs. On its 10th edition, AIM will embrace a bigger challenge of enabling economic growth through its five pillars – FDIs, Startups, Future Cities, SMEs, Foreign Portfolio Investment, and special event One Belt and One Road.

AIM 2019 saw the participation of over 16,000 visitors, 436 exhibitors and co-exhibitors, 66 high-level dignitaries, more than 150 experts and specialists, and 143 country representations.

AIM is an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Economy and is under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
